Dementia occurs when we suffer damage of the brain, often caused by diseases such as Alzheimers.
There is no cure for dementia at this point, but spotting the signs earlier can help slow down the progression of the symptoms.
What are the symptoms of dementia?
The most common symptoms of dementia are memory loss, confusion, and difficulty concentrating
Most often than not our family and friends notice these symptoms well before we do, just as you may notice these symptoms in someone you know.
If you suspect any of these symptoms book an appointment with your GP so you can seek the help you need.
