| The Return Of Dry Skin |

For anyone,
dry skin is not very nice and can cause a lot of discomfort
as well as being unattractive to look at. Whilst you
may be using all the right products, everyday you are
still asking yourself, will my dry skin ever go away?
Well the simple answer that is YES. It is not only
lotions and creams that will help you get rid of your
dry skin.
Here are some very simple rules that you really need
to follow if you want to be able to get rid of dry
skin.
We all like a hot soak or the long shower and whilst
they may feel great and are indeed relaxing that are
not doing your skin any favours. Soaking does nothing
other than take away essential oils from your skin
making it very dry in some cases. In exposure to water
should be short and the water should never ever be
hot.
Bath oils are not very good even though they smell
great. All they do is make you want to stay in the
tub for longer. Also the oils make become attached
to your skin and these oils are more than likely to
be man made and therefore may become attached to your
skin. Even after you step out of the tub and you dry
yourself the synthetic ingredients could still be
on your skin and this can cause some irritation later
down the line.
You should also never use soap on the skin as these
have a tendency of making the skin dry. Instead you
should opt for using a cleanser by applying a small
amount to a ball of cotton wool and using this to
cleanse the skin. You can then follow this step by
using a toner to help freshen the skin.
Cleansing and toning is a great natural alternative
compared to washing especially if the water in your
area is hard. |
