Oily Skin Vol2 |
| Will Having Oily Skin Always Lead To Acne? |
| by Louise Forrest |
| |
If you
are in a period of life when you are developing oily
skin then the glands beneath your skin are clearly overactive.
There are various factors that can trigger this increased
production of oil.
There are many who automatically think of acne when
they hear the words oily skin, but this does not need
to happen.
To put it quite simply if you have oily skin then
this does not automatically mean that you will develop
acne or even any other kind of outbreaks such as spots,
but the chances of developing these are increased.
The real reason people with oily skin tend to develop
is because they do nothing about the fact the fact
that they actually have oily skin to begin with.
What tends to happens is that any dead skin cells and
other dirt from the environment become trapped in any
enlarged pores that you may have. Cleaning becomes difficult
due to the excess oils that are produced and this is
what generally causes the acne as the oil acts like
a glue to the skin.
But when you first notice that you do have oily skin
and actually do something about it from the start then
the chances of you developing acne or other outbreaks
are reduced.
To put it simply you just need to make sure that you
are looking after your skin as best as possible. Avoid
any gimmicks on your skin, do not over wash, do not
touch too much, eat well, drink water and lots of it,
keep your pillow cases clean and just having a good
sense of personal hygiene will take you a long way in
preventing acne. |
