Oily Skin Vol2 |
| Does Oiliness Ever Actually Go? |
| by Louise Forrest |
| |
So you
have oily skin. You seem to be taking care of your skin,
following all the text book rules of making sure that
your diet is good and that you are getting lots of water.
But will it actually ever go away?
If your oily skin will actually go away will really
depend on the factors that may have caused you to
get the oily skin in the first place.
There are some people who just cannot do anything about
their oily skin condition as it is down to their genetic
make up. And this can often lead to a person having
very dull skin.
If you happen to have very oily skin then you are
best off visiting your family doctor how should be
able to either refer you to a dermatologist or to
be able to suggest some products that will be able
to help the condition.
One of the largest groups of people to have oily
skin are teenagers as their bodies are going through
a large number of changes. But you should take some
positive notions in knowing that oily skin very rarely
proceeds beyond adulthood.
Due to the fluctuations a person may experience in
their hormones people can often see a difference in
the amount of oils that their glands are producing.
But with the right products and making sure that you
take good care of yourself you will be able to control
your oily skin.
But once your hormones have stopped being active
then your oily skin is also likely to fade away. People
such as women who are pregnant or those that are taking
the pill will develop changes in their hormones and
therefore will still experience the odd case of oily
skin and the problems that it can cause.
Your lifestyle can affect oily skin bouts and this
includes doing something that is meant to be good
for you and that is performing exercise. There is
also the fact of a build up of stress can have implication
on your glands too.
The best thing that you can do is just to follow
the advice in this articles and others also. Look
after your skin but do not go over board as too much
cleaning can also cause its problems.
See if there is a support group of some kind and
talk and meet other people who have oily skin and
how it is affecting them and how they are learning
to cope with having oily skin. |
