Given all the risks with going out in the sun, should you or shouldn’t you? There are always stores about skin cancer and the damage the rays from the sun can perform. Yet the sun it also vital for life. So what and who do you believe?

The main rays that are from the sun are known as UV rays, and these can be very intense and can harm you if you have too much exposure. They why that these will harm you is that you will not heal as quickly and your skin will age much more quickly than otherwise.

In order to protect your skin you need to use a very good sun lotion or to even consider using a sun block. All you need to make sure that the SPF is high, the price does not need to be high at all.

So you are aware of the bad points of sun exposure, what, if any, are the benefits to being exposed to the sun?

Whilst you need to be careful if you are going out in the sun, you still do need a moderate amount of sunshine to stay healthy. But you need to be aware that you are not being exposed when the sun is at its highest and therefore putting yourself at any kind of risk.

Being exposed to the sun will help to get rid of any unwanted toxins from the body.
As well as this, there is evidence to suggest that when the sun is shining the mood of a person can change dramatically. It can have an impact on a person that is suffering from depression.

When the days start to get shorter and the sun is not visible that much, moods do change. But as spring returns, the moods of people are lifted.

Another important fact about the sun is that it gives us vitamin D. This vitamin gives a much needed boost to your immune system which helps the body to fight off infection and to get rid of toxins from within the body.

When you have less toxins in the body you will feel and look much better. Another important fact about vitamin D is that it helps to keep the muscles strong and it helps to prevent the muscles from becoming weak and breaking away.

With all the scare stories about the sun, you just need to remember to be careful. You need to have sunshine in your life and a little will do wonders for you.
