A healthy routine is a must for a good skin and hair. This helps you to keep your hair and skin more glowing and to impart a healthy look to them. Different hair needs different methods of caring. What type of skin you have? Oily skin or dry skin? And your hair type is oily hair or dry hair? After finding what type of hair and skin you have, choose a good method to take care.

Dry hair needs much care and you require something to hydrate dry hair. Usage of shampoo containing lanolin and high nutrient conditioner is recommended. Daily washing your hair and brushing with a good firm brush will stimulate the scalp. This motivates the oil glands to generate more oil to nourish your hair.

In case of dry skin, daily schedule should include a good moisturizer that will grasp the moisture into your skin and take shape of a hurdle that assist to keep bacteria and dust away. Skin care products with a strong astringent or which is alcohol based is not suggested as these will merely result in drying your skin out more. Drink plenty of water every day as it will help you to nourish your dry skin.

Oil haired people can have a better hair care routine which will help to eliminate the problem of having dandruff, oily hair. Gentle conditioner should be used for those having oily hair. Rinse your hair with lemon juice. This is a good way to remove some of the oil from your hair and it smells good too. Brushing your normal hair too often should be avoided as this stimulates the oil glands in your scalp.

Acne is biggest problem for those who possess oily skin. The people having oily skin should keep their skin clean. Skin should be washed frequently by using a good astringent. Don’t fear if acne breakouts, since this problem will exist for short time and can be easily treated. If this happens firstly wash the area often, pat the area dry and do not massage it dry as this may injure the skin. A good acne treatment soap and medicated ointment is recommended to protect this area. Never pierce the acne, or squeeze it. It leads to the damage your skin and can leave mark.

Diet will help a lot for those having oily skin and hair. Keep away from saturated fats found in stuff such as chips, oily fried food items. A healthy diet will also be favorable to those with dry and oily type of hair and skin. Food diet must follow certain menu such as eating plenty of chicken, green leafy vegetables, fruits, grains and eggs. These food items are essential for healthy hair and skin. Minimum eight glasses of water a day is suggested for those having both type of skin and hair. This way you can keep good care of your hair as well as skin.
