I have just been shopping in one of the major high street stores and I just thought I would spend a few moments looking at the products that they have available for personal hygiene.

Now there are a lot of skin care products that are available, but I have yet to see any major store sell anything that is organic based. Everything is a leading brand and people do buy these products.

But when I took a moment to look at the ingredients, all I could see was one synthetic ingredient after the other. This also applied to hair care products and also for body care products.

Even the products for babies where laced with chemicals and I actually felt like talking to one of the mothers who was buying a shampoo for her baby. I wanted to tell her about the ingredients and to inform her of the dangers of such ingredients.

What stopped me was the fact that she would probably think that I was strange and who was I to know any better?

It does shock me that we live in a world where organic food and drink is all the range yet people are still unaware of what they are using to clean their face, hair or even their young children.
