Regarding hair care let us consider what type of hair and skin you have, since people have different types of hair and skin such as oily skin, dry skin or normal skin. Any type of these skins can be possessed by people whereas some people may have combination of both skins.

Finding out which type of skin is the first thing you should know to take utmost skin care. A dry skin is patchy or it contains patches of red or golden color. Oily skin makes you to sweat and thus acne appears frequently due to this. But if you do not have patches or acne, then your skin is normal.

Dry skin needs much care. Find a good quality moisturizing lotion and avoid insensitive cleansers. Good moisturizers make it easier to keep your skin hydrated and form an obstacle against the things which act as resistors for skin to retain its moisture. A good gentle soap with little or no alcohol content will help to moisturize dry skin. Alcohol content in soaps is responsible for drying skin and thus enhances skin problem.

For dry skin, always try a good moisturizer and drink plenty of fluids. Warm baths should be avoided. When wipe your skin with towel, keep the skin little moist and apply lotion to it.

For oily skin type, firstly you need a cleanser that rinses off cleanly without leaving a residue behind. The biggest problem of oily skin is acne. With a good quality anti bacterial cleanser wash your skin frequently to avoid development of acne. Picking spots causes the bacteria to spread and it can cause damage to the affected skin. Appropriate cleansing and application of a good acne cream solves the problem.

Same is with hair as skin. Some people have dry hair but some has oily hair. Verify which type of hair you have and then choose about good hair care schedule and it’s very important to take good care of your hair.

If you have dry hair, roots of hair should be nourished. Shampoo which is rich in nutrients and lanolin based is suggested for hair care. Regular hot oil treatment by massaging your scalp is needed once in a week, this aids to open pores. Brush your hair by parting at the center and firmly downward to stimulate your scalp which in turn will promote the body’s natural oil to come to the scalp thus helping in moisturizing your hair.

In case of oily hair, use shampoo which is mild and is made for oily hair. Daily washing of hair reduces oil formation on hair. Certainly rinse all the shampoo totally from your hair without leaving any remains behind as that will boost the oiliness of the hair. Brushing your hair regularly is not good for oily hair as it stimulates the oil glands. A gentle and soft brush is needed to brush your hair. A healthy diet which supplies essential nutrients should be opted for healthy hair and skin.
