Fruits For Your Skin
by Louise Forrest

The diet for the skin and hair care should be a balanced one. It is advised to have large portion of fibre daily for healthy skin care. Fruits and vegetables should be given priority over junk or fast food. Poor nutrition will always play major in affecting the condition and appearance of hair and skin. Food items which are enriched in Vitamin A help in maintaining healthy hair and scalp. The best source to get this is from fruits and vegetables. Vitamin B regulates the secretion of oil in a balanced level, and we get it from cereals, eggs and certain vegetables. Lack of vitamin B5, B12 biotin and folic acid can lead to hair loss. The optimum level of these vitamins can be maintained by intake of banana, cauliflower, yogurt etc.

You should take healthy and balanced diet to keep hair as well as skin in good state. For both cases the need is to increase intake of vegetables and fruits, and even this is advised to eat vegetables in raw or semi cooked conditions. Fruits are a great source of many elements required by body and also keep the level of water content optimum in body. The use of fatty and oily foods along with fried food is not at all advisable if you want to have a good state of hair and skin.
