| Why A Foot Tattoo Does Not Get Along With Footcare |
| by Louise Forrest |
| |
Some
people are just too fond of getting a tattoo. Yes, tattoos
are cool, they add up to the mystery and appeal of some
people. Tattooed persons feel more confident baring
skin and showing off tattoos because for them getting
one or several sets of such skin marking are evidences
of guts to take initiatives and risks just for fashion
and vanity. You can easily have a tattoo in any part
of the body, with the arms and legs as the more typical
sites for such art pieces. But have you ever wondered
why it is so rare to find a foot tattoo? One thing is
certain and you should know about it. That is: foot
tattoo is not good for footcare.
Why is a foot tattoo a no-no when it comes to footcare?
First of all you know how the feet is the most exposed
to microorganisms and infectious germs. The feet are
used for walking, standing and running. Most of the
time, people tend to do activities on their bare feet.
When they do that, they are not aware that they are
exposing the feet to various harmful microorganisms.
You would notice that as a form of adoption, the feet
is almost always having thicker skin composition to
better protect it from germs’ attacks. But because
tattooing involves piercing skin to inject and put
in ink for permanence, you sac logically infer that
tattoos cause small-scale wounds that are adjacent
to each other. Wounds are skin opening that usually
facilitate entry of unlikely microorganisms to the
body.
Second reason is that it usually does not make any
sense to put on tattoo on the foot if you would not
be able to show it off. Tattoos are natural and permanent
fashion accessories that accentuate the skin color
and quality. If you are out on the beach and you are
fond of walking by the seashore barefoot, perhaps,
you could get the satisfaction of showing off your
skin mark. But imagine yourself living in a very cold
country like Norway, Canada, or Iceland. Would you
be able to show off your feet if you live in cold
countries? That would not be right and culturally
appropriate.
Another reason why foot tattoo is bad for footcare
is its facilitation of too much and unbearable pain.
The human body’s threshold to any form of physical
pain is lowest at joint areas and those parts adjacent
or near bones. The feet can be classified as among
such areas. Thus, it is true that taking a foot tattoo
is really painful and is a sacrifice in itself. If
your threshold to pain is high and you could tolerate
just about anything, then, foot tattoo can be appropriate
for you.
Surely, foot tattoos are exquisitely beautiful and
attention catching. But it takes a lot to have such.
Your overall footcare is still much more important
than having your feet look beautiful and artificially
interesting. |
