Organic Treats For Your Feet
by Louise Forrest

You should take care of your feet and not neglect them as part of your skin and body care routine. Given the abuse that your feet take on a daily basis they are very vulnerable as they have no glands to keep them lubricated.

Here are some ideas on how you can create your own range of products that will allow you to take care of your feet.

Using honey as a cleanser because of the anti-bacterial properties that it has. Simply wet your feet, and apply some honey to a cloth and rub all over including between the toes. Then just rinse with some water.

If you are looking for some relaxation then you may want to try a foot soak as they are great for the skin and also for your mental state. They can bring instant relief to tired feet and are a great help for feet that are very dry. Once you have finished soaking and dried your feet you then need to apply a good foot cream, which is something that you can always make

Foot Soak – 1

Take some whole mils and add some Epsom salt, organic almond oil and peppermint essential oil. Soak your feet for no more than 15 minutes.

Foot Soak – 2

Take some lemon oil, rosemary oil, oat flour and add to warm water. Soak for no more than 20 minutes

Foot Soak – 3

Take some Epsom salt, baking soda, lemon oil, sandalwood oil and coriander oil and add to warm water. Soak for no more than 20 minutes

Foot Soak – 4

Add some warm organic whole mil to some lavender oil and soak your feet for no more than 20 minutes. Rinse and moisturize.

Foot Soak – 5

Organic pineapple juice needs to be added to some coconut milk and then to some warm water. Soak for no more than 15 minutes. Rinse and then moisturize.

As well as soaking your feet to help revive them you also need to exfoliate in order to remove any dead skin cells. Exfoliation of the feet should be done quite often and is not a one time event.

When you have done exfoliating your feet you then need to finish off with a good foot cream, and just as often as you moisturize your face, you should also apply the same attention to your feet too.

Here is one idea for a foot cream that you can quite easily make:

Take some cornmeal and apply to a mixture of sour cream and olive oil. Massage well to the entire foot and then rinse with warm water.
