Why Bother With Organic Skin Care? |
| by Louise Forrest |
| |
It seems
that as each day goes by we are being passionate and
possible crazy with products that are organic. Food
that is organic is a real boom and the craze has been
passed on to skin care products also. So what is really
the fuss all about and will they do anything special
for your skin?
Many other skin care products do contain a lot of
harsh ingredients and if you knew what was in the
products you would never use them. The problem that
we have is that we place a large amount of trust in
to the companies that are producing such goods.
Every day products that you may already be using
on your skin contain ingredients such as alcohol.
Now if you are not already aware alcohol is very drying
on the skin and can create many problems. But a lot
of people are turning away from such products are
using organic based and are seeing greater benefits
to the skin.
Here are some of the benefits of why you should consider
turning to products that are organic:
Kind for even the most sensitive skin types
– as the ingredients are not harsh and
are natural, people who have sensitive skin will be
able to enjoy the benefits of using such products.
You buy what you pay for – whilst
it is true that organic products are a little more expensive
than other products they are worth the extra investment,
as you can be guaranteed that you are getting the best
ingredients available.
Cost effective – as mentioned
organic skin products are generally more expensive but
this should not put you off because you can always make
your own range of skin care products yourself.
To make your own care products all you need to do
is just open your kitchen cupboard, and you will be
surprised at the ingredients that you can find that
will allow you to keep your skin glowing.
For instance if you took some baking powder and rubbed
this on to your skin once a week while you are in
the shower, the results on your skin are just fantastic.
Tomatoes that are fresh are great at helping to combat
oily skin.
The use of vinegar for healing the skin has been
going on for years and years, and if you have feet
that smell, all you need to do is mix some vinegar
into a bowl of warm water and allow soak. The mixture
will be great for treating any skin conditions on
the feet such as athletes foot. |
