Can Alpha Hydroxy Acids Help Oily Skin?
by Louise Forrest

Your can produce more oil when you are in a different environment from one that you are used to. This increased oil production can happen not just externally to the body but also internally too.

Drugs, foods and hormones are the normal factors that cause the body to produce excess oil internally

The weather, food and even exercise are the general factors to developing more oil externally to the body

If you are having oily skin, then it is the harsh products that you need to avoid as well as hot water

A fresher approach to treating oily skin is to use the acids from fruits as these have a better chance of helping the skin to stay soft and at the same help the skin to control the level of oil that is produced.

The acid from fruit can also help to moisturize your skin as they help the skin to retain moisture. Typical methods are known to actually remove moisture from the skin and this is not the desired goal that we want to achieve

The way in which the acids from fruits work is that they help to exfoliate and remove any dead skin cells. It is important that you have an exfoliating routine as dead skin cells do not help the skin to fresh and they do not help the skin to retain any moisture.

When you do remove dead skin cells this help to revive the skin and this is what gives the skin a fresh look. And if you are using fruits acids then you will notice that any large pores that you do have appear to reduce in size because the acids are able to break up the excess dirt and bacteria.

Whilst there is some debate as to whether the pores are now smaller, the possible reason that they appear to be smaller is due to the fact that any bacteria has now been removed from the pore.

And then there are the alpha hydroxy acids themselves. These are many natural based and some are man made.

Oily skin can have its problems but with the right care it will soon fade. But you should also the positive side and that is you will not age as fast and your skin color will not fade.
