Oily Skin |
| The Dilemma Of Having To Cope With Oily Skin |
| by Louise Forrest |
| |
The increases
production of the oil glands in the skin is often due
to hormones and this is what causes the skin to become
very greasy in appearance. This can be especially so
during the teenage years when people are experiencing
many changes in their bodies.
As well as oily skin causing the skin to look dull it
can also lead to stress and this can lead to other problems
such as poor school performance. It is not suggesting
that oily skin is a large contributor to a person having
low self esteem but it does not help at all
If you are you are a parent and you have a teenage who
is experiencing oily skin then you need to make sure
that you are doing your part in helping them to maintain
their confidence levels.
Here are some simple steps to help you deal
with oily skin and keep it under control |
| |
| - |
Massage
your skin with a non harsh cleanser using circular
motions |
| - |
Follow
this with a mild toner to freshen and tighten
the skin |
| - |
Alpha
hydroxy acids found in fruits and milk are known
to help oily skin |
|
| |
This
because the acids help to break away any clogging that
may have developed.
If you are suffering from spots and you see pus then
this is your bodies way of trying to eliminate toxins
from the body.
Here are some other natural ingredients that you should
also apply to the skin as often as you can:
Aloe vera, buttermilk, lavender oil, lemon oil, lemon
grass oil, peppermint oil, rose oil and sage oil
Always try and use organic care products on your skin
especially if you have oily skin as this stop the products
from drying your skin, whereas products that are not
organic will have a tendency to dry out the products. |
