Oily Skin Vol3 |
| Escaping Your Oily
Skin Forever |

Have
you always suffered from oily skin or did it seem to
come from nowhere? There are many causes of oily skin.
Knowing how your skin reacts to outside factors is important.
One factor of oily skin is heredity. Most of us gain
out skin’s composition from one or both parents.
Chances are if you have oily skin as does a parent it
means you inherited it, however if your oily skin appeared
later in life say near adolescence if is probably a
result of hormones. These two causes are not easily
fixed because you usually need to take several treatment
measures before finding skincare products that will
prevent blemishes. The oily skin related to outside
factors is a little easier to work with. |
| |
Let us
look at some outside factors, food, perspiration, and
cosmetics. Perspiration is a two way street for oily
skin. Perspiration is a natural flow of your bodies
toxins to leave your skin, however your blocked pores
may cause these toxins to remain in your skin causing
blemishes.
This is because the oils your body is producing are
block in your oil glands and unless you open your pores
these elements cannot escape. Most studies disagree
that perspiration is a factor in oily skin, but it is
a factor to increasing the oil production of your skin.

Have
you ever noticed an acne breakout after eating the greasy,
but delicious pizza? Food or diet is another factor
that can produce an oily skin effect. Those with naturally
oily skin often have acne breakouts related to food.
For those who do not have naturally oily skin having
an unhealthy greasy diet can lead to the appearance
of oily skin.
This is our body’s way of telling us it has too
much toxins in the body and it needs to get rid of them.
Chef’s who do not have naturally oily skin can
begin to have problems do to the grease they cook with
or the heat of the kitchen. Once away from this factor
for a period of time his or her skin begins to clear
up and return to normal such as having a healthy diet
would help clear up someone’s oily skin if it
is not hereditary. |

Do you
wear makeup every day or just once in a while? Cosmetics
are another outside factor to help increase the oily
skin phenomenon in woman. Cosmetics usually have an
oil base. With this oily base beginning on the skin
everyday all day for at least eight hours the skin is
going to absorb the oils preventing the natural working
order of the pores.
Another downside to cosmetics is that they can block
the pores even if they do not contain oils. To prevent
oily skin from cosmetics it is often best to wash your
face twice a day with a cleanser, exfoliate once a week,
and use non-oil based moisturizer. |

There
are plenty of myths out there regarding oily skin and
what causes it. To know how your skin will react to
certain factors you will have to be astute. Pay attention
to your skin. If you know drinking soda and eating greasy
pizza will lead to oily skin with plenty of blemishes
then you probably want to avoid doing so if you prize
your natural skin. |

Oily
skin has many causes some are related to genetics and
cannot be cured, but can be treated. Others are related
to outside factors that changing our every day life
can clear up the problem. The choice in skin care and
the products you use will help prevent oily skin.
Following some basic guidelines such as washing your
face twice a day, limiting the intake of greasy foods,
and being careful in the oil based products we buy will
help you return your oily skin to a more natural healthy
appearance while helping prevent breakouts. |
