How to Create the Perfect Look in Your Twenties

Make up can be tricky and our needs for it change throughout our lives. At twenty years of age we are covering up blemishes and imperfections, whilst at the age of thirty we are trying not to look so tired. Then once we reach the age of forty, we are trying to make ourselves look younger. So how does this affect our make-up?

Make-Up for the Twenties

Creating the perfect look in your twenties is not really that difficult. You should really start by using a good moisturizer, as the base is often one of the most important aspects of make-up and a good moisturizer can really help to keep make-up smooth and even. Although you may not be overly worried by them, fine lines can start appearing whilst you are in your twenties so you may wish to start using an eye cream to protect that delicate area and ensure perfect eye make up application.

	Concealer and Foundation Another tip is to wear yellow toned make-up as young skin tends to have a tendency to be red in color. When using concealer, start by placing it around the nose and on the chin. When it comes to foundation try and avoid putting too much on. Many people make the mistake of caking the foundation on and putting it absolutely everywhere. Liquid foundation should be used to highlight the skin and if you have any oily areas at all it is better to use a compact powder foundation on those areas.
	Eyeliner Eyeliner is often one of the most abused make-up products and most young girls tend to simply draw a line under the eyes, which can often make the eyes look too small. Generally cream eyeliners are better as they help to create the most natural look. The line which you create should never be visible and it should literally melt into the eyelashes. Always apply with a brush and apply the liner in short, little strokes.
	Creating the Perfect Smoky Eyes Smoky eyes are really popular with girls in their twenties. In order to create that perfect look it is always best to let your eyeliner be your guide. To highlight the line you can apply some dark eye shadow with a brush. Again, try not to let the line show as this will not look natural. When highlighting the lower lashes it is best to work inwards, and then after you have finished them, it is time to brush the eyebrows through. If you have not got much color on your eyebrows you can always color them in, though do not overdo it as you want the look to be as natural as possible. The eyebrows really do shape the face. 	CLip Gloss To finish the look, lip gloss should be used to add a little bit of shine to the lips. A nice subtle pink is often a good choice and it tends to look more natural than other colors.
