| Problems That Can
Occur With Your Hands |
| by Louise Forrest |

Taking
care of your hands should be easy after all they are
only small, but the majority of people just do not bother.
Given that it is not very wise
to neglect them as sore hands do make doing the very
basic tasks very difficult indeed.
The best steps that you can do is actually prevent your
hands from becoming cracked, dry or sore. Many people
but this is not always
the case. Dry and sore hands can occur at anytime and
this is not a seasonal problem that will go away in
the summertime for instance.
One of the biggest problems associated with hand problems
is dryness and the best way to defeat this is to make
sure that you are . Some of the causes
of dryness are using simple thins like washing up liquids
and detergents, so rather than expose your hands to
such products, you may want to consider wearing gloves
in order to protect your hands, and such gloves are
readily available in most stores.
There are also jobs then can and do put a lot of
pressure on hands, such as manual labour work or bakery
or even a florist. You need to make sure that you
are wearing gloves as often as possible to protect
the skin and that you are applying a hand cream as
often as possible in order to provide essential nutrients
to the skin.
If you are always doing the washing up at home why
not just take a break by getting someone else to do
them for a change. You can even go extreme and use
disposal plates etc or simply wear gloves in order
to protect the skin. Wearing gloves will also protect
your skin if you have hard water in your area.
So know that you know that you should be moisturising
your hands as often as possible you need to be able
to find . You need
products that can help protect your hands in all weather
conditions and help to replenish any lost nutrients
from the skin.
But be careful if you have any kind of wounds on your
hands as will make this part of the hand sting,
but always use a moisturiser if your hands have chapped
and dry skin. There is no limit to often you can apply
a moisturiser to your hands. Even applying some cream
to your hands every times you wash is perfectly acceptable
as you need to realise that the soap will have taken
away some of the cream you would have applied previously.
Plus the water, if it is hard, will not be good for
your hands either.
If you just do not protect your hands at all then
you could experience a number of problems later in
life. Such problems can include dryness, cracking
of the skin which can result in bleeding and this
can be very painful depending on how severe the cracked
skin has become. Also the tips of the fingers are
very sensitive so if these become cracked these two
become extremely painful.
There are also blisters. As will as not being very
pleasant to look at they are a sign of swelling and
inflammation. Blisters on the hand will also make
it difficult to hand simple things such as a cup or
a bag when you go shopping, so the problem goes beyond
a cosmetic problem. |
