| Make Up And Dry Skin |

Many
people are affected by dry skin and they need to handle
it daily and to use products that are suitable for them
and also to be ready to adapt should their existing
products begin to stop being as effective as they once
were.
Symptoms of dry skin is often displayed that skin
that looks rough and cracked and also very sore, which
can be especially so during the winter with the icy
cold winds.
Just like any condition, there are levels of severity
and some people have very severe dry skin and this
can be seen as the skin is often cracked in appearance.
What is needed are very intensive products that can
help to soothe away any soreness and to help repair
the damaged skin.
As mentioned, winter can be very tough to those that
suffer from dry skin as the low humidity just batters
away at your skin.
It is not just the weather that may be causing your
dry skin or the pollution that may exist in the area
that you are. Other factors such as the products that
you are currently using as well as the make up that
you may be applying may also be factors to you having
dry skin.
Just like skin care products there are just thousands
of types and brands of make up products that are available
for you to choose from. Most of the products may not
actually affect your skin such as lipstick or eye
liner for instance. But one product that certainly
does affect your skin is foundation.
It is vitally important that you find the right foundation
for your skin as this is applied to the entire facial
area. It is used to give yourself an even tone, remove
blemishes from sight and to some extent actually protect
your skin from the elements of the weather and pollution.
There are some foundations that actually contain sun
screen, although not very strong, it will still offer
some kind of protection against the sun.
Some of the foundations that are available do contain
talc and this is actually a dry agent. If you are
using a foundation that does contain talc then you
have a problem straight away. You will need to replace
such items, as they may also be having other negative
effects on your skin.
There are some researchers who are totally against
the use of talc, as they suggest that it may contribute
towards certain types of cancers. But there is no
actual evidence that this is correct as talc has been
used for many years. At the very worst talc does cause
your skin to become dry. |
