| Are You Certain It Is Dry Skin? |
| by Louise Forrest |
| |
You think
you have dry skin, but you are not certain. Some parts
of your skin are dry yet others are little oily. You
are not too sure what products to use as you are afraid
that if you use something for one skin type it may harm
the other areas of your face.
So what do you do?
It is generally considered that you if you have for
instance a part of your skin that is dry and another
part that is oily for instance then this is referred
to as combination skin. And the trick is to ensure
that you are able to treat your dry skin as well as
the oily skin as well as the normal skin. Confused?
Having such as skin type can be very frustrating,
but you need to look at the positive nature of your
skin. You should be thankful that you do not have
skin that is too oily so reducing the risk of spots
and acne. You should be grateful that your skin is
not too dry so there will be less work for you to
do in order to get it to be hydrated and youthful
looking.
A common reference to this type of skin is to have
a nose, chin and forehead that is oily, or known as
a T-zone, and to have the cheeks and areas around
the eyes to be dry.
With regards to how to treat skin that is oily and
also dry, you simply need to adjust your skin care
routine and ensure that you are using products that
have been created for combination skin.
Make sure that you are using products that are in
the various forms such as moisturizers, face masks,
exfoliating lotions, toners, cleansers and a good
face wash too and your skin will be looking great
before you know it. |
