Dry Skin Has Stopped By

It is not rocket science to notice when someone is suffering from dry skin. You may sometimes by asleep in bed only to wake up to skin that is flaky and also not looking very healthy.

At this stage, and if you have not taken action, then you really need to be applying the most intensive moisturizer that you can possibly find.

You may not be easily to notice that at first it is dry skin that you have, and you may not know what the actual cases may be. But once you do know what the possible cases are you will be able to find the best products to help hydrate your skin once again.

There are just too many factors that can contribute towards dry skin from taking place, but at the most, many are theories, but some do hold to be true. It could be as something as simple as the water that you may be using. If the water is hard then this in turn will cause the skin to become dry also.

Other possible reasons are the actual temperature at which the water is. If you have a shower or bath using very hot water then this is not doing you any favours at all, and this is simply stripping the skin of its own essential oils that it needs in order to stay hydrated.

Again if you like to spend time swimming, you will need to remember that excessive lengths of time in the water will mean that your skin is being exposed to the chlorine and this too will have an effect on skin. You should shower straight afterwards and then apply a body lotion to lock in any lost moisture.

Following the above steps will help you but there are also natural factors that also come into play, and one of these is genes. If you have a family history of dry skin then there is a possibility that you too will develop dry skin and so you will need to ensure that you have possession a good moisturiser for your face and body lotion for the body.

Another natural factor is that area that you live in. If the area is very cold you will be more prone to dry skin, than if you lived in an area that was very hot for instance. But then again living in a hot area can also dry the skin too.
