Causes Of Damaged Hair

Lack of conditioner – these can be a real life saviour for hair that is damaged and very dry. But in order to get the most of your conditioner you should not use it straight away after you have done a wash. You should towel dry your hair first prior to applying the conditioner and you may even want to leave the conditioner on your scalp for a few minutes. This will help the scalp to soak in as much of the conditioner as possible.

When using a conditioner this your chance to really focus on the roots of the hair and also the scalp. And you can and should comb your hair when you have applied the conditioner to make sure that it really penetrates the scalp as much as possible as well as make sure that the conditioner is evenly spread.

Also think about the environment in which you are exposing your hair to. If you enjoy swimming, consider wearing a cap to prevent your hair being exposed to the chlorine that is in the pool. You should also wash your hair after you have been swimming also.
