For Beautiful Hair |
| Why You Do Not Have
to Fake it to have Beautiful Hair! |
| by Louise Forrest |
| |
The secret
to beautiful looking hair is not always found in a bottle.
Sometimes it is possible to make hair look healthy,
without lacing it with chemicals. |
| |
Natural
products and solutions for many hair problems are fast
becoming popular. They are gentler than most shop-bought
products and they can make the hair look shiny and full
of life. So how exactly do you go about making these
products? Well it is not always as hard as you think.

Frizzy Hair
Remedies |
| If you have
frizzy hair, coconut oil often comes in handy.
Simply rub a little coconut oil into your hands
and run it through the hair to tame that frizz.
Be careful not to use too much however as it can
leave the hair looking greasy.
Drinking a lot of water also helps to eliminate
frizzy hair as most frizz is caused by a lack
of moisture. |

Dry
Hair Remedies |
| If you suffer
from dry hair then mayonnaise may be a good option
for you.
Mayonnaise surprisingly makes a really good conditioner.
Depending upon the severity of the dryness, it
is advised that you leave the mayonnaise on the
hair for anywhere between five minutes to one
hour before rinsing thoroughly.
Another strange natural remedy for dry hair is
beer. Simply place some beer in a spray bottle
and spray it onto the hair after the hair has
been shampooed and towel dried. It is better to
put the beer on before trying to style the hair
as it makes an excellent setting lotion. Strange
but true!
A luxury treat for dry hair includes mixing one
tablespoon of honey with whichever type of vegetable
oil you want, and simply place the mixture on
the hair. Leave it on for around five minutes
before washing it off.
If you want the hair to be silky and manageable,
you could always add six drops of lavender, sandalwood
and bay essential oils, to six ounces of either
soy oil or warm sesame oil. Section your hair
into one inch pieces and apply the oil with a
wad of cotton. Once all the hair has been covered,
wrap it up with a towel and leave the mixture
on for around fifteen minutes before shampooing
twice. This should really help to keep the hair
hydrated, smelling nice, and manageable. |

Oily Hair |
| If you have
oily hair you know that it can often be a nightmare!
It generally tends to look greasy and dull just
as soon as you have washed it. Luckily there are
some natural treatments to help you and one of
those includes cornstarch.
If you are running short of time, simply place
some cornstarch onto a dish and have a large clean
blusher brush handy. Dab the brush into the cornstarch
and using a comb, part your hair in the middle
and brush the cornstarch into the roots and onto
the scalp. Part the hair again ¼ to ½
an inch off the original parting and brush more
cornstarch onto the roots and scalp. Repeat this
until you reach the bottom of the head and then
do the other side. Leave the whole lot on for
around ten minutes and then simply brush it out.
It really could not be any easier!
Overall no matter which hair type you have, there
is always a natural remedy to suit you. Natural
remedies are cheap to create, they are not much
hassle to do and they really do leave excellent
results. You never know if the recipes will work
for you unless you actually try them! |
