Treating Acne Could Not Be Easier
by Louise Forrest

Now there are more than likely been a time in your life when you wish that acne was not a part of the package. It is not a pleasant skin condition and can start in your teens and can even progress into adulthood.

With acne can come a lot of bullying and this can make you feel even worse about yourself and your condition. All in all, you need to try and ignore such tactics and to remain positive.

Like many things acne is a way of life for many people, and you may not want to hear this but for many it is all down to genetics. Some people have the most wonderful skin and some people seem to have skin that is not very pleasant and regardless of what they do, nothing seems to be able to improve the condition.

As mentioned acne is also likely to be caused by genetics. If you have parents who had clear skin then you should not really have much of a problem and you condition is more than likely to be a phase. If on the other hand your parents had a lot of acne when they were younger than it could well be down to genetics.

But regardless of what your genetic structure may be there are some simple procedures that if you follow will allow you to treat your acne with some positive results

One of the most neglected tasks that you need to perform is the actual washing of your face. You should only wash twice a day with a product that is anti-bacterial in nature and not perfumed. You need to make sure that the product is formulated correctly for people with acne and will not cause your skin to dry like a bar of soap will.

One of the things that you should always do is to test the products that you are going to try. If the product something that you have never tried before just try using it to wash another area of the skin that is not affected by acne. All you are doing here is just making sure that you skin will not react to the ingredients and there is no irritation towards the skin.

If you wear make up you need to make sure that you do not go to sleep when wearing make up. When you sleep you do sweat and this mixes with any body oils that are produced. Make up is talc based and therefore will clog the pores so this action could start an outbreak. Always make sure that you wash your face before you go to sleep.
