Acne is a skin disease. Commonly everyone knows acne as pimple. Mainly teenagers are affected by acne or pimple. Almost 85% teenagers get affected by acne. It is a serious problem of the adolescent age. Generally it decreases with the time. But it is really tough to assure anyone that it will decrease after a certain time. There are instances that prove it vanishes after a teenager reaches his or her adulthood. On the other hand there are also the opposite instances that prove acne increases with the time. “Acne vulgaris” is the most common type of acne that affects the teenagers. Mainly the face is more affected. Shoulders, chest and the back can also have acne .

Hormonal activities are the main reason of pimple or acne. During puberty and menstrual cycles an increase of sex hormone causes acne. If you have a genetic history of having acne, it is possible that you can also be affected by acne. If you are a teenager and anyone of your family had a problem of acne in his or her childhood, it is possible that you can have acne at the present time. It is a genetic problem. If your sebaceous gland is hyperactive you may have spots . Stress is another vital reason for acne. Take care of your skin. The dead cells of your skin help acne to grow. Don't scratch your skin. It will make the condition of the affected place more difficult. There are herbal treatments also for removing acne. An orange is helpful to reduce acne. Make a paste of orange peel in addition with water. Carefully apply the paste on the affected places. Sometimes the bacteria are the reason of increasing acne. You can use a face mask to remove the bacteria from your skin. A proper diet can help you to prevent acne or pimple. Soft drinks, meat, coffee, ice cream, processed foods help increasing acne. Avoid these foods if you can avoid them. If you are taking herbal medicines these foods may neutralize the effects of those herbal medicines. Sulfur is a good remedy for acne. You can take a good quantity of those food which are very much rich in sulfur.
