| A Bit More About Moisturisers |
| by Louise Forrest |

You can
buy them online you can buy them at the local store.
There is probably a commercial for them somewhere on
the TV or radio at some point during any given day.
And if you are keen enough you can even make your own.
What are we taking about? Moisturisers
With just thousands of product brands that are available,
it can be quite a challenge finding something that
can be beneficial and suitable for your skin. Whilst
it is one thing finding a moisturizer that will suit
your skin type, you also need to determine if you
actually need one
This is because if you do have dry skin then to some
extent you are more than likely to need one. But then
you need to ask what type of moisturizer do you buy?
Do you go for organic or do you go for anti-ageing?
Which do you select?
Too many choices and too much information can make
you leave the skin care section just as quickly as
you got there. But again it is easy to buy a moisturizer,
the real question is what you will buy actually do
anything for you.
No one single ingredient can make your dry skin suddenly
go away. Any good lotion will rely on several ingredients
in order to perform the tasks that our skin needs.
These include nourishment, moisture and also protection
from the natural elements whether it be the weather
or pollution from the skies.
You may also want to consider moisturizers that have
a level of sun protection built in, as exposure to
too much sun can also cause the skin to dry out. But
for the bulk of most days you will find that you are
indoors but will still need to make sure that you
have a good moisturizer.
It is often really down to personal choice and a
lot of people seem to opt for products that provide
more than one purpose. |
